| Officer under the Central/State/State Govt., PSUs, Statutory/Autonomous Bodies/ University/College/Institution holding: |
| An analogous post, or 2 years’ service in the pay band of ₹ 9300-34800 + Grade Pay ₹ 4600/- or 3 years’ experience in the Grade Pay of ₹ 4200/- or equivalent. |
| Desirable |
PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or equivalent. |
| Educational Qualification |
| A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks and a consistently good academic record. |
| Qualified in the National Level Test conducted by the UGC or any other approved agency. |
| Ph.D. degree holders may be exempt from the NET/SLET/SET requirement under specific conditions. |
