| NET / SLET / SET | Candidate must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or SLET/SET, unless exempted under the applicable UGC Ph.D. provisions mentioned in the advertisement. |
| Desirable | Knowledge of Sanskrit language up to B.A./Shastri level and working experience in libraries related to Indological Studies. |
