Essential Educational Qualification
- Bachelor of Library & Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) with minimum 60% marks.

- Master of Library & Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc.) with minimum 60% marks.
- Qualification must be from a recognized institution/university.
Training Period
Apprenticeship training for a period of One Year under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
