Qualifications for Assistant Librarian:
i. Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade/OGPA). A relaxation of 5% will be provided for SC/ST category candidates.
ii. Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC regulations.
iii. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC regulations shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment, subject to conditions (a-e) related to the Ph.D. evaluation and publication.
iv. A minimum score as stipulated in API based PBAS set out by the university.
