| Service Eligibility |
Officers of Central/State/U.T. Governments,
Universities, Statutory/Autonomous Bodies or
Research & Development Organizations:
(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis; OR (ii) With 3 years regular service in the grade pay of ₹4,200/- in the relevant field and possessing the educational qualification prescribed for direct recruitment. |
| Essential Qualification |
Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library
and Information Service from a recognized
University/Institute;
OR B.Sc. Degree or equivalent from a recognized University and Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Library Science from a recognized University/Institute. |
| Experience | 5 years’ experience in a library of repute. |
| Computer Skills | Ability to use computers with hands-on experience in office applications, spreadsheets and presentations. |
| Desirable | Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University/Institute. |
HOW TO APPLY
Eligible officers should submit their applications in the
prescribed proforma through proper channel.
The envelope containing the application should be superscribed: “Application for the Post of Librarian Grade-I (Documentalist) on Deputation Basis”.
Applications must be accompanied by duly attested copies of the latest 05 years’ Confidential Reports / APAR. It should also be clearly stated that no vigilance or disciplinary proceedings are pending or contemplated against the candidate.
Applications without Vigilance Clearance and attested copies of CR/APAR dossiers will not be considered.
