Essential Qualification	Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree.

Experience Requirement	Six (06) years relevant experience in Pay Level-05 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300), OR Combined relevant experience of eight (08) years in Pay Level-04 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100) and Pay Level-05 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300) for officials of Government / Autonomous Institutions. OR equivalent relevant service and pay. Experience in institutes of repute such as IIMs, IITs, IISERs etc. will be preferred.

Equivalent Pay (Non-Govt./Contract)	Pay Level-05: Minimum salary of ₹29,200/- (2016 onwards) and ₹11,300/- for earlier periods. Pay Level-04: Minimum salary of ₹25,500/- (2016 onwards) and ₹9,910/- for earlier periods.

Age Limit	Not exceeding 35 years
Method of Selection	Written Test only
