Maximum age (deputation) Not exceeding 56 years as on closing date
Eligibility & Qualifications
Who may apply Officers from Central/State Governments, Union Territories, Universities, Recognized Research Institutions, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous / Statutory Organisations who can be spared on deputation.
Essential Qual./Experience Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or Library & Information Science from a recognized university
AND 15 years of professional experience in a library under Central/State/UT Government / Autonomous / Statutory Organization / PSU / University / Recognized Research/Educational Institution.
Service requirement (a) Holding analogous post in Pay Band-4 with Grade Pay Rs. 8700 on regular basis; or
(b) With 5 years’ regular service in post in Pay Band-3 with Grade Pay Rs. 7600 (pre-revised) — presently Level-12; or
(c) With 10 years’ regular service in post in Pay Band-3 with Grade Pay Rs. 6600 (pre-revised) — presently Level-11.
Deputation Terms & Pay
Period Initial deputation period: 3 years (may be curtailed/extended with consent and approval)
Pay on deputation Pay will be regulated as per DoPT/OM provisions (e.g., OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II) and subsequent amendments)

(c) Statement showing minor/major penalties (if any);
(d) Integrity Certificate;
(e) Educational & experience documents; and the completed Annexures (I–V) as per circular.
Subject on envelope Mention: “Application for the Post of Library and Documentation Officer” on the sealed envelope.
Submission deadline On or before 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in Daily Newspapers (check publication date).
