Position Name	Library Professional Trainee

Duration	Two Years (purely on temporary basis)
Stipend	₹23,000/- per month consolidated with no additional perks
Essential Qualification	First Class in Masters in Library and Information Science or equivalent from a recognized Institute/University having good academic record
Desirable Qualification	Candidates with relevant Computer Knowledge will be preferred
Age Limit	26 years as on the last date of application Relaxation for SC, ST, & PD category candidates (up to 31 years) OBC (Up to 29 years) as per Govt. of India rules

Nature of Traineeship	Work in various sections of Central Library Exposure to emerging tools and technologies in LIS field Different shifts (morning/evening/night) including weekends/holidays on rotation (six days a week) No accommodation provided Automatic termination after tenure completion
Important Note	Candidates who have appeared for final year exams may apply but must produce First Class final mark sheet at joining time, else won't be allowed to join
