Advertisement for Research Eligibility Test (RET) 2022 for admission to Ph. D Program in Library & Information Science for the Session 2022-23
Admissions will be made on the basis of a written test, of three hours (180 minutes) duration followed by an interview. Candidates with NET (JRF)/ NET (LS)/SET/SLET/M. Phil or equivalent examination would be exempted from the written examination, but must appear for an interview on the scheduled date.
• Applications are invited for admission to Ph. D program in the Department of Library & Information Science, University of Calcutta in the prescribed pro-forma (attached).
• An application fee of Rs. 100 is to be submitted online through SBI Collect (https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect).
• The candidates should download the ‘application form’ from the university website for the admission test and interview, filled-up, signed properly and along with scanned relevant documents (original) & SBI Payment receipt are to be sent in a single Pdf to the e-mail address:
