Essential Qualification and Experience:

• A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade if applicable).
• A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of computerization of a library.
• Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC regulations.

Additional Criteria:

• Candidates with at least 60% aggregate marks or CGPA of 6 on a scale of 10 (or equivalent) in Master's Degree in Library and Information Science will be considered.
• At least 55% or equivalent grade at graduation level.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an Institute/University (only post-qualification relevant experience will be considered).
• Experience as guest faculty, guest lecturer, research fellow, JRF/SRF, or non-relevant experience will not be considered.
• Applicants should not be above 45 years of age as of the last date of application.
• SLET/SET qualified candidates will be excluded from eligibility according to the UGC Notification 2018.
