Eligibility – Chief Librarian
Officers under the Central/State/U.T. Governments, Universities, Statutory/Autonomous Bodies or R&D Organizations:
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis; OR
- At least 5 years of regular service in the Grade Pay of ₹7600/-; OR
- At least 5 years of regular service in the Grade Pay of ₹6600/-
- Master’s Degree in Science (preferably Biological Science)
- Degree/Diploma in Library Science
- Master’s Degree in Library Science
- Training in Medical Librarianship
Eligibility – Librarian Selection Grade (Senior Librarian)
Officers under Central/State/U.T. Governments, Universities, Statutory/Autonomous Bodies or R&D Organizations:
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis; OR
- 5 years regular service in GP ₹5400/-; OR
- 6 years regular service in GP ₹4800/-; OR
- 7 years regular service in GP ₹4600/-
