Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or Associateship from DRTC/NISCAIR with 55% and above marks in aggregate and with consistently good academic record.
- Knowledge of managing e-resources, computerization of Library, and good ICT skills.
- Five (5) years experience in an academic or Research Institute of repute.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in related media, technology, and information services aligned to knowledge management.
- Exposure to library software applications such as KOHA, D-Space, Zotero, Mendeley, etc.
- Publications in peer-reviewed/reputed journals on current trends.
- Membership in ALA/SLA/SIS/ILA, MANLIBNET, etc.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 40 years (including 5 years relaxation for SC).
