Qualification :
Ph. D. Degree in Library & Information Science from
recognized University/Institution.
Experience:
Twenty years of experience in Library &Information
Science in University / Institution or Government
Organization/Autonomous Body/Statutory Body out
of which at least fifteen years at supervisory
level(level-10 or equivalent)
Age: 50 years
Maximum upper age-limit for NIFT employees maybe
relaxed upto five years or total length of service
rendered (on regular and/or long-term contract basis)
whichever is less.
Recruitment on Deputation
Officers of the Central Govt. / State Govt./ UT/ Autonomous Organization / PSUs holding analogous post (Level-13) on regular basis with educational Qualifications as Ph. D. Degree in Library & Information Science from Recognized University / Institution and relevant experiencein managing Library & Information Centres.
Age limit: Maximum age limit for appointment shall
not exceed 56 years as on closing date of receipt
of applications.
