Educational Qualification
- A Master’s Degree in library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in appoint scale wherever grading system is followed) and a good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library;
(b) Qualifying in the national level test (NET/SET/SLET) conducted for the purpose by the U.G.C. or any other agency approved by the U.G.C.; Provieded that the Candidates who are,or have been awarded Ph.D degree in accordance with the “University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation’s,2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET/LSET;
(c) Certificate or Diploma in computer course of atleast ‘O’ level provided by DOECC or other agency recognized by the Central or State Government as equivalent thereto; and
(d) Certificate or Diploma in Library Documentation.”
