Educational:
(i) Master’s degree of a recognized university or equivalent;
(ii) Master’s degree in Library Science of a recognized university/institute or equivalent.
Experience:
12 years working experience in a recognized Library including experience in administration.
Desirable:
(a) Doctorate degree of a recognized university or equivalent.
(b) 5 years experience in computerization/modernization of a recognized library.
Note-I: The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the for reasons Union Public Service Commission to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
