THE QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND AGE LIMIT
FOR THE ABOVE POST(S) ARE AS UNDER:
1. Librarian
Pay Matrix Level:
Level 14 of Pay Matrix ₹144200–218200/-
and other allowances as admissible.
Essential Qualification:
Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science /
Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade
of B in the UGC seven-point scale and consistently good academic
record set out in appropriate UGC regulations.
Essential Experience:
Minimum of 18 years of post-qualification experience in reputed
Libraries as College Librarian / Assistant Librarian OR at least
13 years of experience as a Deputy Librarian or equivalent in
Pay Matrix Level 12 in a reputed Institution or University.
Evidence of innovative library service and organization of
published work.
Desirable:
M. Phil / Ph. D. degree in Library Science / Information Science /
Documentation / Archives and Manuscript keeping,
Computerization of Library.
Age:
Preferably below 57 years.
