Eligibility – Assistant Librarian
  1. Age: Not more than 40 years.
  2. Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks.
  3. Consistently good academic record with knowledge of library computerization.
  4. Must have cleared NET / SLET / SET or hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009 / 2016 and amendments thereof.

Ph.D. exemption conditions:
  • Ph.D. awarded in regular mode
  • Thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners
  • Open Ph.D. viva voce conducted
  • Two research papers published (at least one refereed journal)
  • Two conference/seminar presentations sponsored by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or similar agencies
Eligibility – Library Assistant
  1. Age: Not more than 32 years.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent from a recognized University.
  3. Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.
  4. Knowledge of Computer Applications.
