WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR LIBRARY APPRENTICE
The Central Library of the National Institute of Science Education & Research (NISER) is planning to
recruit Library Apprentices (LA). The selected candidates will get hands-on experience of working in
different sections of the Library. The LA are recruited under the guideline of the Board of Practical and
Training (BoPT) (East Region), Kolkata or NATS.

| Essential Qualification | Bachelor of Library & Information Science (BLISc) from a recognized Indian University/Institute and passed out after 1 st January 2018. |
| Desirable Qualification | Science graduates with computer proficiency will be given preference. |
| Age Limit | As per the BoPT rules |
| Remuneration | Consolidated stipend of Rs. 14,000/- per month with no additional perk. |
