| Essential Qualifications |
- Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent;
- OR Doctoral Degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Pharma/ MD/ MS from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Four years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.

| Desirable Qualifications |
- Master’s degree in Library and Information Science after First Class Bachelor Degree in Science/ or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (CS/IT).
- Five-year Experience of working in any library of Research/Technical Institute/University/College.
- Qualified UGC-NET in Library and Information Science.
- Good ICT skills, Excellent writing skills.
- Knowledge of Library automation/DSpace/Institutional Repository Software will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in reputed organizations like IITs/NITs/IISERs preferred.
