Qualification & Experience
Graduate in any discipline (desirable Science graduate) and Master of Library & Information Science with 55% marks from a recognized University / Institute with consistently good academic records. Minimum 3-5 years post qualification experience as Jr. Librarian / Assistant Librarian / Library Assistant is required preferably in a biomedical or Hospital Library settings. Experience in digital environment, good communication skills (written and oral) in English, strong interpersonal skill is desirable. Need to work in shifts too. Knowledge of computers and related technology, library management software and content management software. Knowledge of management of e-databases, electronic services and experience of automated searches is desirable.
