Library Professional Trainee Recruitment

The Central Library of NIT Agartala invites applications for the position of Library Professional Trainee from fresh postgraduates in Library & Information Science.

Stipend	Rs. 20,000/- Per Month (Fixed)
Age Limit	Not exceeding 27 years (As on the last date of the Application)

Duration

Maximum duration: 12 months (extendable up to 24 months based on performance). Training may be terminated anytime if found unsatisfactory.

Essential Qualifications

First Division in MLISc from a recognized Indian university. Year of passing must be 2024 or 2025. Candidates awaiting results may also apply.

Essential Skills Requirement

Working knowledge of computers, library software, and good writing skills.

Responsibilities

All library-related tasks including rotational shifts and working on holidays. Six-day workweek required.

Selection Process: Written test / skill test followed by personal interview.
