Educational Qualification & Experience	Graduate in Science / Library Science. Postgraduate qualification in Library Science / Library and Information Science from a recognized University / Institute with at least 55% marks in both Graduation and Postgraduation. The qualification must have been obtained through a regular course. Five (05) years professional experience at Level-12 as per 7th CPC or an analogous post in a library under Central / State Government / Autonomous or Statutory Organization / PSU / University / Recognized Research or Educational Institution.

Desirable Skills & Experience	Proficiency in computer applications, information technology, system analysis and communication. Experience in computer-mediated Library and Information Science management, including data storage, retrieval, indexing, cataloguing, search, bibliography and informatics.

Eligibility for Deputation	Same as prescribed for Direct Recruitment.

Probation Period	01 Year
