The Secretary, Art and Culture is pleased to engage 2 (Two) Junior Librarians on contract basis in State Central/Public Library, Kavaratt under the Department of Art and Culture, Union Territory of Lakshadweep for a period of one year. The qualification, mode of recruitment, consolidated remuneration etc. are as follows.

Educational Qualification
Essential :
BLIS / MLISc from a Govt. recognized University/ Institution.
Desirable :
Higher qualification and knowledge in computer application.
The qualified and interested local candidates may register their candidature on 31.10.2019 at 10AM in the Department of Art and Culture, Kavaratti with certificates in original for the proof of age, educational qualifications, nativity, social status etc. The Walk-in Interview will be held on the same day at 11AM onwards in the Secretariat Conference Hall, Kavaratti. The candidates who fulfill the required qualifications in all respects only will be allowed to attend the interview. Selection will be made on the basis of 50% marks obtained in educational qualification, 10% for experience and 40% for interview. No TA/DA will be allowed for attending the interview. The Secretary Art and Culture is vest power to cancel/modify the Employment Notice without assigning any reason thereof.
