Deputy Librarian (Post Code: 03) — Eligibility & Requirements

Pay Level & Age: Level-12 (as per 7th CPC), Age not exceeding 50 years.

Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with: CGPA ≥ 6.5 (10-point scale) or 60% marks or equivalent grade (B in UGC 7-point scale). Qualified in NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC or approved agency.

Experience: Minimum 5 years as Assistant University Librarian / College Librarian or equivalent post with GP ₹5400/- or above.

Desirable: Evidence of innovative library services & computerization of library. Ph.D. or equivalent in Library / Information Science / Documentation.

Assistant Librarian (Post Code: 07) — Eligibility & Requirements

Pay Level & Age: Level-10 (as per 7th CPC), Age not exceeding 35 years.

Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with 60% marks or CGPA ≥ 6.5/10 (B in UGC 7-point scale) and consistently good academic record. Qualified in NET/SLET/SET (UGC or approved agency).

Desirable: PG Diploma in Library Automation & Networking or PGDCA. Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
