Essential Qualifications	Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks. Consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of a library. Must have cleared UGC NET/CSIR NET/SLET/SET or hold a Ph.D. degree per UGC 2009/2016 regulations. Note: Candidates with Ph.D. registered before July 11, 2009, are exempted from NET/SLET/SET if they meet additional conditions: Ph.D. awarded in regular mode Thesis evaluated by two external examiners Open viva voce conducted Two research papers published (at least one in a refereed journal) Two presentations in UGC/ICSSR/CSIR-funded seminars
