Essential Qualifications Masters of Library & Information Science (MLIS) or Equivalent from recognized Indian Universities with First Class. The applicant must have passed MLIS or equivalent examination either only in the year 2023 or 2024. Candidates expecting the MLIS final marksheet by the day of the Interview may also apply.
Desirable Skills Knowledge of Computers
Nature of Work The Young Library Associates will work on different functions & services of the library using emerging tools and technologies in the field of Library & Information Science, and knowledge-related analytics. They will work six days a week and be ready to work in different shifts and weekends/holidays, on a rotation basis.
Selection Procedure Written Test, Trade Test & Personal Interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
Proposed Remuneration A consolidated stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month.
Age Limit Not exceeding 28 years of age, as on the last date of advertisement.
Leave and Medical Facilities Leave: 8 Days of Casual Leave in a Calendar Year. Medical Facility: As per Institute’s norms. Candidates must provide medical insurance of Rs. 1 Lakh or more at the time of joining.

  • No correspondence will be entertained regarding the written test/interview or reasons for not being called.
  • The Institute reserves the right to modify eligibility criteria, age, and selection procedures, and cancel the advertisement if necessary.
