International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of TIFR invites applications for the post (one) of Project Librarian for its campus in Bangalore. The individual should be highly motivated person having ‘hands on’ experience of working in a library. The selected candidate shall be offered consolidated salary based on qualification and experience. The contract will be for a period of one year.

Essential Qualification:

• Post Graduate or Graduate in sciences or mathematics with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of ​Koha (or alternative like Libsys etc.)

Desirable qualification:

Candidate should be willing to learn and adapt to new paradigms. Experience in using Linux operating system is preferred. 

Candidates with a degree in library sciences (B.Li.Sc. / M.Li.Sc.)  would be preferred. 

Tenure: It is a temporary project appointment.

Location: ICTS campus, Bangalore

Upper Age limit: 28​ years (as on 1.4​ .201​8​), may be relaxed based on higher qualifications and/or experience.

Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualification. The selected candidate will be required to join on a short notice.
