Walk-in interview for engagement on contractual basis to 03 (Three) Nos post of Librarian in Rural
Libraries in Alipurduar district (Under the control of Local Library Authority (L.L.A., Jalpaiguri (Un-
divided)) will be held on 21/02/2018.
The eligibility criteria & terms and conditions of the engagement are as below:-
(1) Age- not exceeding 65 (Sixty five years) as on 01/01/2018 (Copy of Original PPO with a copy &
other document have to show in time of interview),
(2) Qualification- Must be retired Librarian / Library Assistant of Govt. Sponsored Public Libraries in
West Bengal,
(3) Period of engagement. The period of engagement of Librarian in Rural Libraries will be for 1 year
from the date of appointment,
(4) Remuneration- Remuneration of retired Librarian of Rural Libraries on Contact basis shall be Rs.
10,000/- Per Month,
(5) Mode of Selection-Retired Librarian / Library Assistant will be selected on the basis of Past
Service record, Physical fitness, mental alertness & walk-in interview to be conducted by the
Selection Committee,
