Job Description	The teaching assistant (TA) will be typically a graduate/postgraduate student who will assist a faculty with instructional responsibilities. The TA will assist in creating and delivering learning material in a course. TAs may help develop assignments, quizzes and exams to meet a course’s objectives and evaluation. Lecturing and tutoring will be a part of the TA’s responsibilities. Where Professors typically lecture to an entire class, TAs will ensure the assimilation of the class and in case where additional teaching is required will coordinate with the faculty. They will also perform duties of invigilator.
Minimum Qualifications	Post Graduate Degree in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics
Areas of Specialization	Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistics, International Economics, Agricultural Economics, Populations Studies, Library Science, Indian Economy
Desired Qualifications/Experience	0-1 Year. Candidate must have a sound knowledge of computer tools (preferably MS Word and MS Excel) and experience in multi-skilled functionaries. Good written and oral communication skills in English language. Preference can be given to Ph.D. candidates.
Consolidated Pay	In Rs. 20,000/- per month
