Applications are invited from eligible candidates for a One-Year Apprentice Training Program at the National Social Science Documentation Centre (NASSDOC) of the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi.

Position Details

Number of Positions and Field Qualifications Stipend (Per Month)
Six (06) positions of apprentices in the field of Library & Information Science
  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Library and Information Science from a recognised University/Institute (Essential Qualification).
  • Six-Months Computer Certificate/Diploma (Desirable Qualification).

Application Process Candidates are required to apply through the NATS 2.0 Portal. Apprenticeship Advertisement ID: AADL240111179073.
Reservation Candidates claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC must submit the certificate as per the central government format. Failure to do so will result in their application being considered under the 'General' category.
Age Limit Maximum age limit is 30 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates) as of the date of advertisement.
Last Date 21 days from the date of advertisement in the NATS Portal.
Selection Process
  • Written test consisting of multiple-choice questions in Library and Information Science and Computer Skills.
  • Practical computer skill test followed by interaction with experts.
