Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad invites ONLINE Applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the position of “Library Trainees” for engagement on an ad-hoc basis in IIT Hyderabad. The appointment shall be on a purely temporary basis for one year, and further extension of tenure, if any, may be granted subject to the satisfactory performance of the selected candidate and the requirement of the Institute. Essential qualifications: First Class Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent recognized by UGC. However, those candidates expecting their MLIS or equivalent examination’s final mark sheet before the date of the Interview (i.e., by 28.07.2024) may also apply, but must produce the final mark sheet at the time of interview, in proof of them having passed the examination in First Class without which the candidature will not be allowed to attend the interview.
Desirable qualifications: Basic knowledge of IT and IT applications related to libraries.
