Position	Library Trainee
Number of Posts	ONE
Appointment Type	Temporary (initially 6 months, extendable to 2 years)
Job Description	The program offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge in various library functions, including content acquisition, cataloging, organizing information, research support, processing research publications, and more. Trainees will rotate through different library sections, including Circulation, Book Acquisition, Technical Processing, and Digital Repository.
Remuneration	₹31,000 per month
Essential Qualifications	Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc) and a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with a minimum of 60% or equivalent in both degrees.
Eligibility	Only candidates who completed MLISc in 2023 and 2024 are eligible to apply.
Desirable	Excellent technical and communication skills.
Age Limit	30 years as of the last date for application.

Selection Procedure:

A written test may be conducted to shortlist candidates, and final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the interview.
