Details of Apprenticeship Programme

Sri Venkateswara University invites applications for the one-year Library Apprenticeship Programme at the University Library as per the following details:

Position Library Apprenticeship Programme
Number of Trainees 7 (Seven)
Stipend ₹ 10,000/- per month (consolidated)
Age Limit 30 years (as on the date of the circular issued)
Qualification Master's Degree in Library and Information Science with 55% marks
Skills Required Knowledge of computers is essential
Job Nature The selected candidates will assist the Librarian in different sections and may work in different shifts.
Location Sri Venkateswara University Library, Tirupati

Important Instructions

  • The apprenticeship is for one year and is purely temporary; it will not be extended.
  • Applications without M.L.I.Sc. Provisional/Convocation Certificates will not be considered.
  • Applications should be sent to the Librarian I/c, S.V. University Library, Tirupati-517 502.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

The last date for receipt of completed application forms is 31-12-2024.
