Are you passionate about Law Librarianship and legal research? Eager to gain practical experience in a professional legal environment? Look no further! Our esteemed legal library, which caters to Supreme Court Judges, is seeking dedicated, young, dynamic, tech-savvy, highly motivated, and committed Library and Information Science students, fresh graduates, or postgraduates as Library interns on a non-stipendiary basis.

Eligibility Students studying BLIS/MLIS or fresh BLIS graduates/MLIS postgraduates
Duration Minimum four weeks (Period of Internship may be extended subject to overall performance)
Number of Interns Eight to be enrolled at a time
Location Supreme Court Judges Library, A Block, Additional Building Complex, Supreme Court of India
Remuneration/Stipend Nil
Duties Monday to Saturday
Certificate Interns will receive an internship completion certificate after successful completion.

Nature of Internship:

  • Interns will work in all sections of the Supreme Court Judges Library.
  • Learn legal search and use in-house library databases and subscribed legal databases.
  • Assist in special projects of the library as needed.
