Applications invited from L&IS freshers for “INTERNSHIPS” for a period of six months, beginning Dec, 2022.

These are purely temporary positions but may be extended if required.

Educational Qualifications:

MLISc (Master degree in Library & Information Science) through regular / full time programs from recognized universities / institutions. Good working knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with library software (KOHA) will be an added advantage.

Students awaiting results can also apply.

Age limit: 24 years.

Job Profile: Assisting the library team in collection development and cataloguing with KOHA software. Also working in other library functions / domains /technology areas. Experience certificate will be issued at the end of the term.

Job Location: Ashoka University (# 2, Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Rai, Sonipat, Haryana). Working hours: 9 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Saturday.

Remuneration & Benefits: Stipend of Rs 20,000 per month. (Accommodation on payment basis can be arranged in designated apartments, closer to campus.

Free transportation between campus & apartments and subsidized food while on campus).
