1. Librarian

Essential requirements:

• Masters degree in Library Science / Information Science Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent B grade in the UGC seven-point scale and consistently good academic record
• At least 13 years of experience as Deputy Librarian in University library or any other library statutory organization or 18 years experience as a College Librarian
• Consolidated API score of 400 points
• Evidence of innovative Library service and organization of published work

Desirable requirements:

• Phil. / Ph.D Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives and Manuscript Keeping

2. Assistant Librarian

Essential requirements:

• Masters degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent B grade in the UGC seven- point scale plus a consistently good academic record, computerization of library with five years’ experience
• Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC
