REQUIRED SKILLS

1 High School Diploma or Equivalent

2 Minimum of 3 years periodical & serial experience

3 Good communication & service skills

PREFFERED SKILLS

• Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science
• Experience with library software, such as automated circulation systems and cataloguing software (KOHA-LMS)
• 2 years’ Experience from reputed institutions – preferably University Library system

Desirable Qualifications

1. Sound understanding of library resource acquisition system

2. Knowledge of online databases – search techniques

3. Knowledge of RFID based circulation system

4. Sound knowledge of technical section work including data entry, classification etc
