Syllabus and Scheme of Examination:
The written test shall consist of the following subjects:
- Library Science / Library & Information Science (60 Marks)
- English Language and grammar: Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/ Detecting misspelled words, Idioms & Phrases, One-word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/ Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts. (20 Marks)
iii. General Awareness & Reasoning:
- a) Questions so designed to test the knowledge of candidate regarding the current events of national importance, awareness towards General Science, Environment applicable in day-to-day life, and awareness of knowledge of social importance.
- b) Questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Policy and Scientific Research.
- c) Questions relating to Bihar especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, and General Awareness
- d) Verbal reasoning of Higher Secondary Level.
Note:-
(i) The question paper of the Written Test shall be available in the English language only.
(ii) There shall not be negative marking for incorrect answers in the written test.
