Call letter and important information for eligible candidates (Assistant Librarian) - IIT BHU

A. The pattern of test and interview will be as under:

a) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based Test

1. There will be one paper of 60 minutes duration containing 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The questions will be from the area of Library Science & Computer Applications, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude/Reasoning.

2. Since the candidates are expected to have a sound understanding of English language, the question paper shall be in English only. There shall be negative marking. Two marks shall be awarded for each correct answer while one mark shall be deducted for each incorrect answer. Unattempted question will be awarded zero marks. The minimum qualifying marks shall be 40.

b) Interview

The candidates shall be shortlisted on the basis of merit list of MCQ based test for appearing in the interview. The interview shall be held in the afternoon of 12th February, 2018 for shortlisted candidates. The interview may continue next day also.
