About the Speaker: | |
Dr. Sanjay Banavar is the Director of Libraries at Ahmedabad University, bringing over two decades of experience to the field. He has previously served as librarian at Tripura University and held significant roles at Infosys Ltd. and CMDR. Dr. Banavar's expertise spans online databases, copyright, innovative library services, and Kannada literature. He has published 15 papers, delivered numerous invited lectures, and organized prestigious conferences such as INFLIBNET PLANNER. He was awarded the Best Librarian award in 2019 by the Karnataka State Government, and he has been actively involved in national and international library associations and high-level committees, contributing significantly to the advancement of library and information science. |
