| Background | Information literacy was impressively articulated by the American Library Association (ALA) through their professional rhetoric such as the Final Report of ALA, Information Literacy Standards, and Information Literacy Models of learning outcomes. This early rhetoric is the most widely accepted articulation and rationale for IL, providing a framework for discourse in the new age of information. |
