Qualification for Librarian (Post Code 012)

The minimum qualifications & experience for the post of Librarian will be as hereunder:

• A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science/ documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations.
• (ii) At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or eighteen years’ experience as a College Librarian.
• (iii) Evidence of innovative Library service and organization of published work.
• (iv) Desirable: M.Phil. / Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information Science / documentation/archives and manuscript-keeping.

Qualification for Assistant Librarian (Post Code 108)

The minimum qualifications & experience for the post of Assistant Librarian will be as UGC latest regulations and notifications.

1. The qualifications and experience for the appointment shall be as per UGC norms.

2. Service conditions, reservations & relaxations shall be as per University rules & regulations and State Government norms.

5. The Superannuation age for teaching & academic post in Madhya Pradesh is 65 years and for non-teaching post superannuation age is 60 years.

6. Service conditions, reservations & relaxations shall be as per University rules & regulations and State Government norms.

7. Reservation rules of Government of Madhya Pradesh will be applicable. The benefits of reservation will be provided to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes having domicile certificate of Madhya Pradesh. The claimant of reservation must furnish Caste Certificate alongwith Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate as applicable and issued by the competent authority. 

8. OBC having domicile certificate of Madhya Pradesh must submit Income Certificate for last three years issued by the competent authority, specifying that he/she does not belong to the person/section in the Creamy Layer.

9. University reserves the right to increase or decrease number of posts, fill or unfill or cancel any of post (s) or all posts or change any subject/discipline. 

11. Application form along with fee through demand draft drawn at any nationalized bank for an amount of Rs 250/= for SC/ST of Madhya Pradesh; Rs. 500/= for OBC of Madhya Pradesh and Rs. 1000/= for Unreserved (UR) and SC/ST/OBC candidate of other than Madhya Pradesh. 

12 Application fees is non-refundable and will be accepted through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences, payable at Oriental Bank of Commerce, Dr. Ambedkar University Branch, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow). IFSC Code of the Bank is ORBC0102182. 

13. Self-attested recent passport size colour photograph should be affixed at specified place in prescribed application form and two passport size colour photographs are to be attached with application form. 

14. Enclose self-attested copies of certificates of all supporting documents, alongwith application. No separate information or supporting certificates/ documents will be entertained after receiving the application. Therefore, it is advised to enclose all necessary information and/or supporting certificates and documents along with the application. 

15. In service applicant should apply through proper channel and ensure that their application reaches in the University on or before the last date i.e. 14th March 2016. 

16. An applicant can apply for more than one post; however, applicant has to submit separate application in prescribed form for each post along with fee, as applicable. 

17. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC of M.P. can also apply against unreserved posts, however, they have to submit separate application with fees of Rs. 250/= for SC / ST and Rs. 500/- for OBC, for each post separately.

18.Duly filled application form with demand draft & other supporting copies of certificates and/or documents should reach to Registrar, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow) PIN– 453441, Indore (MP) on or before 14th March 2016 by speed post or registered post. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained. 

19. The envelop carrying application must mention Advertisement No., Post Code and Name of Post applied for.
