Qualification

• Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 points scale & consistently good academic record.

• At least 13 years as Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 18 years experience as a University / National Institute / College Librarian of which at least 3 years shall be as Deputy Librarian.

OR

M.Phil / Ph.D Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives & Manuscript keeping with 10 years experience as a University / National Institute /

College Librarian of which at least 3 years shall be as Deputy Librarian.

Desirable: Evidence of innovation in Library services & organization of published work.
