Essential Educational Qualifications and Work Experience

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE recognized University/Institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.
Master's Degree in Library & Information Science.
Minimum 2 years of relevant and continuous work experience in a regular/permanent capacity in a well-established library.

Desirable Criteria

Proficiency in computer utilities and software packages related to digital office, library automation, and administration/management.
Knowledge of contemporary library management practices.
Good command over both English and Assamese languages.
Strong interpersonal skills to interface with students, teachers, and staff members at all levels.

Age Limit

Not more than 40 years as on 01-11-2024. (Relaxation as per Government norms)
