Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti published an advertisement in Employment News dated 06th to 12th July  2019 for recruitment to various teaching & non-teaching posts viz. Assistant Commissioner, PGTs,  TGTs, Miscellaneous Category Teachers, Legal Assistant, Female Staff Nurse and Lower Division  Clerk under Direct Recruitment Drive - 2019. In the said advertisement, the date of "Registration  Closes" for online application which is 9th August 2019 has been extended up to 25th August  2019 to facilitate the candidates who could not apply till this date owing to various unforeseen events  i.e. technical failures due to flood, rain etc. Consequently, date of "Fee Closes" is also being extended  from 12th August 2019 to 26th August 2019.

The cut off date in respect of eligibility criteria and other terms & conditions of advertisement dated 06th to 12th July, 2019 shall remain unchanged i.e. 9th August 2019.

Essential  Qualification                    

1. University's degree in Library Science from a recognised institution.

2. Working knowledge of English and Hindi or other Regional Language.

 Desirable Qualification                    

 (i)  Experience of Working in a residential school.

 ii)  Knowledge of Computer  Operations.
