 Essential Qualification :

a. A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed. b. At least ten years as a Librarian at any level in University Library or ten years of teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years’ experience as a College Librarian. c. Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library. d. A Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science/documentation/archives and manuscript-keeping. e. The age of superannuation of Librarian 62 (sixty-two) years.

The applicants should be required to submit their downloaded application form (hard copy) after filling it online, along with all the enclosures to the Office of the Registrar Recruitment Cell, AUS by the last date for submission of the downloaded application along with the enclosures must reach to the Registrar, Recruitment Cell, Raja Rammohan Roy Administrative Building, Assam University, Silchar-788011 by the last date of submission of applications 28. The eligibility of the candidate will be determined on the last date of submission of application i.e., 30.10.2020.
