Recruitment Mode	By deputation/absorption failing both by direct recruitment
Eligibility Criteria	Deputation/Absorption: Officers from Central/State Governments, High Courts, District Courts, Autonomous Bodies, PSUs, Tribunals, or Recognized Universities: (a) Experience: (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis, OR (ii) Six years of regular service in Level-5, OR (iii) Ten years of regular service in Level-4. (b) Qualification: (i) Degree in Library Science from a recognized University or equivalent, AND (ii) Five years of experience as Librarian/Assistant Librarian. (c) Knowledge of computers. Note: Maximum deputation period is five years; age limit is 56 years.
