ABOUT THE RESEARCH PROJECT:
- Funding Agency: University Grants Commission
- Project Title: Study and Research towards Preservation and Promotion of Indigenous and Endangered Languages
- Duration of the project: 5 Years, during the Twelfth Plan Period, with a possibility of extension.
- Project Coordinator: Prof. Prasannanshu
Post Name Language Archivist or Documentation Officer
Remuneration Rs. 65000, or as per NLUD rules.
Qualifications
MCA/MTech/PHD in Computer Science, or any other degree in a relevant subject with knowledge of language archiving and documentation. Preferably with knowledge of Linguistics, or PHD in Linguistics with knowledge of computers.
Desirable:
Knowledge of library management and an additional degree in Library Science
