Persons holding analogous posts in any Central or State Governments or High Courts and District Courts thereto or in lower posts with atleast ten years regular service in the Level-4 of the pay matrix (Rs 25500-81100) or equivalent and possessing educational qualifications and experience as under :-

Essential :

(a)               Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

(b)              Diploma    in                      Library   Science of a recognized
University or Institute.

(c)     Two years experience in responsible capacity in a Library of standing.

(d)     Knowledge of computer operation.

Desirable :

(i)    Master's       degree    in                      Library     Science    from        the
recognised University or equivalent or degree in Law.

(ii)  Experience of documentation work in a responsible capacity.
