QUALIFICATION

Mandatory Qualification Matriculation or equivalent with certificate in library science from a Government recognised institute.

Desirable Qualification

(i) Knowledge of Computer operations: Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point presentation.

(ii) Ability to read/write/communicate in English / Hindi.

Selection Procedure

Scrutiny of Application. Upon receiving the application, the screening committee will scrutinize all applications on the basis of eligibility criteria. All qualified candidates will be intimated by 23 Feb 2023 via school email for written test.

Written Test.

The first part of selection process is written test. This test is not required for candidates who have taught in other AF schools for a minimum period of two years in the same category. Written test is scheduled on 04 March 2023.

Teaching Aptitude Test(TAT). All candidates who have passed the Written Test will be called for a Teaching Aptitude Test of 50 marks. This also includes the candidates who have taught in other AF Schools in the same category of post they have applied. This will include demonstration class of 40 minutes with the specified topics provided through school email. TAT is scheduled from 13 to 17 March 2023. Final date will be sent via school email along with topic post selection in written test. Candidates will have to secure a minimum of 35 marks out of 50 to be eligible for the interview.

Interview. Candidates who have qualified the Teaching Aptitude Test will called for an interview of 65 marks, which will be the final stage of the selection process. The Selection Committee will focus on communication ability and the co-curricular skills of the candidates besides assessing the subject knowledge. Interview is scheduled from 27 to 30 March 2023. Final date will be sent via school email to qualified TAT candidates.

Interested candidates can apply in prescribed format only (available on school website) alongwith copies of all necessary documents/ testimonials. Last date for receiving application (in prescribed format alongwith, copies of relevant documents) will be 20 Feb 2023. Applications can be sent by SPEED POST or can be dropped in the box kept at school main gate. Envelope containing application should be super scribed in bold letters “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ……………………….”.
